And So It Begins...

I have been told many times, by many people, that I should start a blog. I knew they were right and that blogging would help me get used to writing on a regular basis. So here we go: Welcome to the Land of Jill! Don't be frightened, we welcome all sorts here ;).  To begin my blog experience, as I am new to this, I will start with what I call "Positively Positive Movie Reviews." This segment will be movie reviews, of movies old and new, but here's the catch: they will only be positive! By this I don't mean that I will love every movie,  anyone who knows me knows that I love to pick movies apart. No, this segment will be me spinning the truth so that everything seems positive even if the movie is the worst thing I have ever seen created and I wonder how it ever managed to make it to film. As a girl with a BA in writing, I particularly like to tear apart plots so this will be a nice test on my patience. Sometimes a movie might be so bad that I have to dig really deep to find a way to make it sound nice; this will provide wonderful practice for my fiction writing skills :). As I get more used to this whole process I will delve deeper into other topics but I will keep my movie reviews going because movies are one of my many passions. What are my other passions? I guess you will just have to keep reading to find out!
